WHAT IS SPLiCING?

ROPE SPLICING is forming a semi-permanent joint between two ropes or two ends of a rope by partial untwisting/ loosing and then interweaving their strands.
SPLICEs have multiple purposes including creating a loop or eye in a rope, conjoining two separate ropes and fixing blocks onto a line.
